Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Livestock Feeder to join our farm operations team in Satigny, Geneva. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care and farm work. The Livestock Feeder will be responsible for the daily feeding and watering of various livestock, ensuring their health and well-being. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene. You will be an integral part of a team that ensures our animals thrive.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare and distribute feed and water to livestock according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
• Monitor livestock for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report any concerns to the farm manager.
• Clean and sanitize feeding areas, troughs, and pens regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist with the movement and handling of livestock as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, animal health observations, and other relevant data.
• Operate and maintain basic farm equipment safely, such as feed mixers or utility vehicles.
• Adhere to all farm safety protocols and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support other farm tasks as required, including general farm maintenance and cleaning.
