We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Product Owner to join our dynamic English-speaking team in Siegen. In this crucial role, you will be the bridge between our business goals and development efforts, defining and delivering innovative software products. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and users to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring that our products meet market needs and exceed user expectations. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Define, communicate, and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively, ensuring a steady flow of value-driven work for the development team.
• Participate actively in all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features based on data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Ensure timely delivery of features and solutions that meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Excellent understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their application.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience with product backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certification.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other scaling agile frameworks.
• Background in software development, UX/UI design, or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of specific industry domains relevant to itemis AG's client base.
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required for this English-speaking team.
