Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our Corporate Compliance team in Freiburg im Breisgau. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our corporate operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, particularly within an international context. You will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to ensure a strong culture of compliance across the organization. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, identify potential areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in legal and regulatory landscapes relevant to corporate operations and advise on their impact.
• Oversee the internal reporting of compliance issues and incidents, ensuring thorough investigation and resolution.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to various departments on compliance matters, including anti-corruption, data protection, and corporate governance.
• Design and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels.
• Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and other departments to ensure integrated risk management.
• Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and external audits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all compliance activities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a compliance-related role within a corporate or professional services environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in German and international compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CAMS).
• Experience with compliance software and GRC platforms.
• Working knowledge of German language is a plus.
• Experience in the professional services or consulting industry.
