We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Speaking Solid Waste Management Consultant to join our dynamic team in Halle (Saale), Germany. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from our office and remotely. As a consultant, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and optimizing waste management strategies and solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. Your expertise will contribute to groundbreaking projects, helping clients achieve their sustainability goals and comply with national and international environmental regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients, and play a crucial role in driving innovative and circular economy initiatives.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and manage solid waste management projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Conduct comprehensive waste audits, feasibility studies, and market analyses.
• Develop tailored waste management strategies, including collection, sorting, recycling, and disposal solutions.
• Provide expert advice on waste legislation, policy development, and best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients on waste management topics.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, environmental, regulatory) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in waste management.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; German language skills are a strong plus.
• Proven experience in solid waste management consulting or related environmental services.
• Strong understanding of waste legislation, circular economy principles, and sustainability concepts.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and presentation software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Waste Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Experience with international waste management projects or standards.
