Are you passionate about fashion and eager to kickstart your career in merchandising? Zalando is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandising Intern to join our dynamic team remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of online fashion retail, contributing to product selection, inventory management, and trend analysis. You will support the merchandising team in ensuring our customers have access to the latest trends and a diverse product assortment. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Switzerland, with a preference for candidates based in or near Morges to foster a sense of local connection, though not required for remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist the merchandising team in product selection and assortment planning for specific categories.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Support inventory management, including stock analysis and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with buying, marketing, and supply chain teams to optimize product flow and promotional activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations on sales performance, product trends, and merchandising strategies.
• Maintain product data accuracy and assist with catalog updates.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated interest in fashion, retail, and e-commerce

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Basic understanding of retail math and merchandising principles
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or data analysis tools is a plus
• Knowledge of other European languages (e.g., German, French, Italian) is a bonus
