Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a skilled and reliable English-speaking Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse operations in Hamburg. This is a crucial role responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, contributing significantly to our supply chain efficiency. If you have a valid forklift license, a strong commitment to safety, and are comfortable communicating in English, we encourage you to apply. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Operate forklifts (reach truck, counterbalance, etc.) safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and move products.
- Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and product identification.
- Perform basic inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, as well as German occupational safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members in English.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Valid forklift operator's license (e.g., Flurfördermittelschein in Germany).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Previous experience in a large-scale logistics or freight forwarding warehouse.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Basic proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with handling different types of goods (e.g., palletized, oversized, fragile).
