Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Hybrid NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Vienna. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing the acoustic and vibrational performance of next-generation automotive systems, including conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains. This position involves a blend of simulation, testing, and practical problem-solving to ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards of refinement and comfort. You will collaborate closely with design, development, and testing teams across various stages of the product lifecycle.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Conduct NVH simulations (FEA, SEA, MBD) for vehicle components and full vehicle systems, with a focus on hybrid and electric vehicle architectures.
  • Plan and execute NVH testing activities, including vehicle sound quality assessment, structural dynamics, and component-level noise measurements.
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes of NVH issues, and propose effective design or material solutions.
  • Collaborate with design, powertrain, and chassis teams to integrate NVH requirements into the overall vehicle development process.
  • Develop and refine NVH targets, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in NVH technologies and tools.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Acoustics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Automotive NVH engineering.
  • Proficiency with NVH simulation software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN, LMS Virtual.Lab, VA One).
  • Hands-on experience with NVH test equipment and data acquisition systems (e.g., Brüel & Kjær, Siemens Test.Lab).
  • Strong understanding of vibration, acoustics, and structural dynamics principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with NVH specific to electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Knowledge of material science and damping technologies.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data processing and automation.
