Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Pharmacology Researcher to join our dynamic research team in Erfurt. This role involves designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro and in vivo pharmacology experiments to support drug discovery and development programs. The successful candidate will contribute to identifying novel therapeutic targets, evaluating lead compounds, and elucidating mechanisms of action. This hybrid position requires a blend of on-site laboratory work and remote data analysis/reporting, offering flexibility while maintaining essential lab presence.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and conduct complex in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies to assess compound efficacy, selectivity, and mechanism of action.
• Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to project teams and senior management.
• Develop and validate new assay methodologies and experimental models.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, publications, and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including medicinal chemists, biologists, and toxicologists.
• Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in pharmacology and drug discovery.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
• Extensive experience with various in vitro pharmacological assays (e.g., reporter gene assays, ELISA, cell-based assays)
• Demonstrated experience with in vivo animal models relevant to disease areas (e.g., metabolic diseases, immunology, neuroscience)
• Strong data analysis skills using statistical software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• PhD in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Post-doctoral experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience with advanced imaging techniques (e.g., fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy).
• Familiarity with drug discovery processes and preclinical development.
• Knowledge of GLP/GCP regulations.
