We are seeking a highly experienced Hybrid Refinery Operations Consultant to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt am Main. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise in refinery operations and exceptional communication skills, all conducted exclusively in English. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with on-site teams and remote experts, providing strategic guidance, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational excellence across our refinery assets. This hybrid position requires a balance of on-site presence for direct engagement and remote work flexibility, allowing for impactful contributions to critical projects and daily operations.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Provide expert consultation on refinery operations, process optimization, and asset management.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.
• Develop and implement best practices for refinery process control and operational procedures.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives for complex operational challenges and incidents.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits of refinery processes, equipment, and safety systems.
• Train and mentor site personnel on new technologies, operational methodologies, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and R&D teams to support project execution and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for management and stakeholders.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in refinery operations, process engineering, or technical consulting.
• Profound knowledge of crude distillation, hydroprocessing, catalytic cracking, and other complex refinery units.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C2 proficiency is essential).
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site engagement and remote contributions.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of industry safety regulations, environmental compliance, and operational integrity standards.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and advanced analytics in the energy sector.
• Familiarity with German industrial regulations and standards (though not required for role execution).
• Prior experience working in a large, multinational corporate environment.
