Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our site team in Linz. This pivotal role involves overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems installations and ensuring their seamless integration with the overall construction project. The MEP Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, supervision, and quality control of MEP works, guaranteeing compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. You will serve as the primary point of contact for MEP contractors, consultants, and the project management team, driving efficiency and problem-solving on site.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Coordinate and manage all MEP-related activities on site, from planning to execution and handover.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor progress of MEP installations against the project schedule and budget, reporting discrepancies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve technical issues and coordinate works.
• Manage the review and approval process for MEP submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
• Identify potential conflicts or clashes between MEP systems and other building elements and propose solutions.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
• Ensure all MEP installations are tested, commissioned, and documented correctly prior to project handover.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator or similar role in large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant local building codes and safety regulations.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software for MEP coordination.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction management.
• German language proficiency (B2 level or higher) is a significant advantage.
